Responsible for developing new, and supporting existing, house accounts and assisting the outside sales reps. Some travel to trade shows and client visits may be required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: - Provide assistance throughout the sales cycle- Support outside representatives - Process/modify quotations and sample requests- Have a complete understanding of company's proprietary line, factored goods, and custom capabilities as pertaining to fit, form, and function- Be available for occasional business travel when necessary- Responsible for identifying, closing, and maintaining accounts (through cold calling and/or internal leads and inquiries)- Communicate with Director of Sales concerning pricing, sales strategies, and customer concerns- Participate in special projects (mailings, new product launches)- General clerical duties- Other duties as assigned

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook- Knowledge of sales/marketing techniques- Able to provide problem solving ideas to a customer- Basic knowledge of computer/keyboard- Professional attitude- Basic knowledge of office equipment such as copiers, printers, fax machines- Basic knowledge of ISO/TS and automotive standards
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus two or more years experience in an office environment; Associates Degree preferred.
Must be able to:
- read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safety rules- write routine reports and correspondence of the nature related to this position- speak effectively before customer representatives and employees
Able to: - add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals - compute rates, ratios and percentages- prepare and interpret performance / measurement graphs.
Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of tangible and intangible variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written text, oral, diagram or schedule form.
